1. Router-Cradlepoint MBR95

    Firmware v5.0.4

2. Smartphone-iPhone4s

    OS: 8.0.2 (12A405)

    Carrier: Verizon 17.0

3. PC-ASUS X75A-DS51

    OS: Windows 8.1

    Wifi Adapter: Ralink: Technology Corp.

                       Type: 802.11n

                       Driver: Microsoft v5.0.26.26

                       Date: 06/26/2013

I can establish an internet connection with my iPhone through my router using the default password shown on the router.

I can't establish an internet connection with my PC using the same password. It rejects the entry and prompts me to use the password shown on the router. However, I do get a successful connection with this PC at other locations with wifi available.

What am I missing?

On the wifi password entry it indicates the 8 digit password on the router is to be entered in the password field. Didn't work.

I entered the router password in the second "use a security key" field and the connection was successfully completed.

Password/Security Key----Potato/Potaaahto.
