Hei guys, I have no idea how this happened but my Windows 7 pro (32 bits) update is so broken!

I tried "sfc /scannow" and nothing, I tried tweaking Windows Repais and still nothing.

I did the System Update Readiness and got many error which I don't know how to fix them. I'm attaching the CheckSUR.log file.

May some expert in this issue give me a hand?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Khelle,

Your machine seems to have lot of corrupted windows file. You might want to give 'chkdsk /r' a try. For doing that, boot on safe mode and then launch a command prompt, then type 'chkdsk /r'. Please take in note that this operation could take several hours.

Hi Syrius01,

Thanks for your reply but already tried that. The files are already damaged and windows update already broken, unfortunately chkdsk won't fix it.

Hello,

I have sourced all of the corrupt files, except for three. But we can use a special script to find these three after. First lets get the files repaired.

SURT Package replacement

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  • Click Here to download Packs.zip and save this to your Desktop.
  • Right-click on the file and select Extract All...
  • Tick the box labelled Show extracted files when complete then click Extract
  • A window will open showing two folders, Manifests and Packages
  • Open the Manifests folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files)

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
  • Open the Packages folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files)

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages
  • Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
  • When the SURT finishes installing, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SURT log into your next post please:

    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log
SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  • Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  • Download SFCFixScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFixScript.txt - do not rename it.
  • Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  • On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFixScript.txt.
  • Drag the file SFCFixScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  • SFCFix will now process the script.
  • Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  • Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post.
