There is no universal "one size fits all" solution that works for everyone and there is no single best anti-virus. Every vendor's virus lab and program scanning engine is different. Each has has its own strengths and weaknesses and they often use a mix of technologies to detect and remove malware. In many cases choosing an anti-virus is a matter of personal preference and what works best on a particular system. You may need to experiment and find the one most suitable for your needs.

Please read:My personal choice is ESET NOD32 Anti-Virus if choosing a paid for program as it leaves a small footprint...meaning it is not intrusive and does not utilize a lot of system resources. Emsisoft Anti-Malware is also a good choice if looking for a paid for program and so is Kaspersky Anti-virus.

I don't think the OP is looking for a standard anti virus. One suggestion is Fix Me Stick. The owners are BC members.

FixMeStick claims to be an external hardware based device which can remove makware that cannot be removed by software anti-virus programs. FixMeStick is a bootable USB device which uses scanning engines from Sophos, Kaspersky, and VIPRE...it is primarily intended to get a computer to a more sable state so that you can use your existing anti-virus and other security tools to complete the disinfection process. Kasperksy provides this brief write-up: About our Partner FixMeStick.FixMeStick is available for purchase from the vendor's website, Walmart and Amazon.com but there are many free LiveCD/Rescue CD utilities which can do the same thing.

Thanks for your input.  Personally I've installed hundreds og Kasperky, Symantec and Bitdefender and of them all Kaspersky has been the best protection with least problems by far.  However my question was particularly towards paying a service of person to help out on the more difficult problems that I can't solve. This wensite has been the best but sometimes I need faster help and was wondering if anyone did this for a living and who the best source would be?
