Hi,

While using the latest update of JRT 6.33, the program only got to the "checking registry" portion andv never completed the remainder of its scan? What should I do? Can I X out or is there a better way to end this program.Or should I wait longer than 1 hour to see if it finishes? Usually, the whole process just takes several minutes. I've been waiting over an hour. The computer has been checked by all earlier versions of JRt with fast completion and no problems!

The computer is a Win 7 64 bit i3 with 8 gb ram.

Is there something different with this latest update?

Thank you for any help regarding how to safely end this program, should it never complete.

Try running it in Safe Mode. If you still encounter a problem running JRT, you can ask the developer (thisisu) a question, report an issue or suggestion in this topic which he monitors for issues with JRT.

Thank you quietman7. I just waited for 90 minutes and it finally finished!

I had used this before on the same computer and it was completed in 6 minutes. That was an earlier version 6.32. The one I just used was 6.33.

Thanks again for your reply.
