While sitting on hold for an emergency I was poking on the web and I came across the Amazon Fire TV unit and that it can play games. But with my history I am known to get a gaming unit (Wii is my latest one) play the heck out of it for a couple of weeks and then barely touch it from there. I have a Wii yet to finish any games, and for the most part it collects dust so in short I am not a true gamer.

However, I am an active user of streaming TV: Roku is my preferred device. I recently dumped Netflix and went with Amazon Prime and for the most part content with it.

But, I notice the Amazon Prime unit offers the ability to buy games and get a game controller. However, has anyone on here dabbled with it and think it's worth it?

I have no interest in spending hundreds of $$$ on a Playstation, XBox or any of those devices for they are basically primarily made for games and can do the other stuff. To me that is over priced/over-kill knowing my history. If I played games like a gamer then I could justify that cost but IMHO in my situation I cannot.

Input?

My job has blocked Europe by the firewall which means I can't access this site from the office anymore. So I will barely be here if at all. In case you cared.  :smash:
