Out of curiosity, today I installed Peerblock 1.2. The list of connections it claims to block kind of shocked me. I don't know what "PI assignments" are, but that "Botnet on Cote D'ivoire Telecom" looks troubling.

I haven't noticed any strange behaviour on my computer, I also did rootkit and anti-malware scans with Malwarebites' tools, and they didn't detect anything suspicios.

What should I make of these attempted connections (that apparently have been going on for quite some time)? Do these connections indicate that I have a piece of rogue software somewhere on my PC?
