So I have a homemade PC with windows 8 that has been working fine for roughly eight months. I am testing a new piece of software for my company that requires windows 7 so I followed Microsoft instructions to dual boot and it worked out fine. However, when I log in on windows 7 it does not read my internet connection from the Ethernet cord and windows says I am am missing a driver. I downloaded the intel network driver and ran it but  the installer said that it was not compatible. So I really don't know what to do now. I really need to be able to connect to the internet from windows 7.

and again everything works on windows 8 just fine.
