Greetings Andrew.

Thank you for the upload.

Indications are your difficulties are related to a game(s) on your computer (at least Guild Wars). I know nothing about gaming programs so I am at a distinct disadvantage in trying to assist you. Whereas those who troubleshoot these programs might be able to pick away at specific issues, my only real option is to uninstall/reinstall which might be an overkill. Plus I don't know what that would do to your saved games, if you have any.

As an example, one of the errors in your reports points toward CoherentUI_Host.exe which is a browser interface. Research indicates this file was a replacement for Awesomium. I see Awesomium in our reports but I don't see CoherentUI_exe even though there is an error pointing to that on 9-10-14. Here is some background on this issue.

If I was convinced your problems were isolated to that one game then it is not that big of a deal. The problem is that there are a number of other generic errors that don't point to anything specific, games or otherwise. As a result, your problems may be solely related to Guild Wars but maybe not.

Beyond that, I have seen where Steam causes these types of issues as well. I only see one specific error related to steam in the error report.

So the bottom line is this. I want to do a couple more things to make sure this is not malware related. If your computer is clean then we (you) need to decide how you want to proceed. We can try uninstalling programs to see if that is the issue or you can try to get help from the gaming community like the link I provided earlier. I just want to be up front with you to at least let you know I am by no means an expert in these matters.

OK, please do this.

Hi Andrew,

The logs indicate your computer is unable to successfully install Windows 7 Service Pack 1, which is a big deal because it leaves your system vulnerable. Overcoming these issues can be difficult at times. If we are unable to resolve the issue, Microsoft provides free support for update issues. Let's give it a shot and start with this.

===================================================

System Readiness Tool for Windows Updates 7/Vista

--------------------
  • Download System Update Readiness Tool for your version of Windows (7 64 bit) and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click the icon and click Yes or OK on the Windows Update Standalone Installer window
  • Once completed click Close
  • Reboot your computer then attempt to download Windows Updates
===================================================

Things I would like to see in your next reply. Please be sure to copy and paste any requested log information unless you are asked to attach it. :thumbsup2:
  • Results?
