Hello all. I am new here and am in desperate need of help. Our computer went crazy last night and we have a message on the screen from Windows that says our computer is in danger and is infected with adware and spyware.

When we run spybot and spywarebot, they have to close in the middle of running. They are showing us about 33 different types of parasites, but we can't get them off.

Some of the parasites are:

Brave Sentry, Spy Shseriff, Windows Security Center.TAsk Manager, Windows, ActiveDesktop, Windows Explorer, and Tibs.vq

What can we do? Will we have to delete everything from our computer and start over?

I forgot to add that now the Internet will not open and neither will Windows. any help can't include those two things.

Thanks so much. We are so tired and have spent about 12 hours on this problem in the last 2 days. thank you .

Begin by rerunning Ad-AwareSE and Spybot S&D in safe mode;this may help them quarantine some of the malware.

Next, if this does not completely solve the problem, post a HiJackThis! log in the HJT forum where our volunteer team of experts can analyse the log's contents and work with you to get rid of the persistent problems. Please read and follow the instructions below carefully:

Also, SpywareBot is listed as a Rogue/Suspect anti-spyware program at the following trustworthy site:
Spyware Warrior Rogue/Suspect Programs

You should uninstall this program in Add/Remove Programs, which is found under Control Panels...

Thanks so much everyone for your responses. We had to scrap the whole computer and start over. Our computer was reduced to nothing but junk. We couldn't run anything even in safe mode. We lost everything, but anything of significance we had hard copies of, so we are okay.

I appreciate all of your suggestions and I wanted to give a word of warning. We think we got all of these nasty things from Paltalk.

Thanks again!
