Its almost the year 2015 and I often wonder to my self, where are the jetpacks and flying cars that all the science fiction has thought that we would have by now? In most science fiction that I have seen, read, etc. Whenever they show off the 21st century they usually depict a futuristic landscape full of bizarre architecture, hover cars, jetpacks, robots, lunar and undersea cities, virtual reality, holograms, food pills, and many more high tech gadgets. I want to know why did this vision of the future ever become a reality?

TLDR: Where is my flying car!?!?!?

You could blame whoever was responsible for burning down the Library of Alexandria.
To err is Human. To blame it on someone else is even more Human.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

I rather cars just drive themselves like in the movie "I Robot". Think about it, I am x-amount of hours from Florida. I buy a condo there, finish with work on Friday, get in my car and say "Florida Home" fall asleep; wake-up and I am in Florida.

Can you just imagine the total confusion of thousands of these small, explosive(when the hit the ground) things start taking to the air.  Uncontroled and operated by a driver that's distracted, just like on the ground.   NO GOING TO HAPPEN
