I used the directions to remove this insidious program from a machine. My only speed bump is that where the directions say to put the infected machine back into Normal Mode, I still had the virus program running and could not start MalwareBytes. The work-around that I used was to start the infected machine in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. This allowed MalwareBytes to go out and get the latest updates, then it ran on the machine in Safe Mode and cleared out Windows Paramount Protection.

Other than my small issue, I found that BleepingComputer's directions were spot-on. So, follow the directions and you will be clean. If, when they tell you to return to Normal Mode and you cannot run MalwareBytes, then try again in Safe Mode w/ Networking.

Good luck.

To be clear, having Windows Paramount Protection watching your computer is like hiring the Bloods to guard your house so the Crips don't get in. There is nothing that comes close to protection in Windows Paramount Protection.

If you have trouble with the potheads taking your stuff, hire a crackhead to sit on the porch and guard it. This is the exact same thing as paying Windows Paramount Protection to keep your computer safe.
