Black border around screen?

I have a black border around my screen which dosent allow my screen to be full screen how can i fix it ?

its a novatech pc  so its custom built  it has a amd radeon 7800

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer.  When  FileHippo opens, click on Download latest version in the upper right pane.
 
When Speccy opens you will see a screen similar to the one below.

Click on File which is outlined in red in the screen above, and then click on Publish Snapshot.
 
The following screen will appear, click on Yes.

The following screen will appear, click on Copy to Clipboard.

In your next post right click inside the Reply to Topic box, then click on Paste.  This will load a link to the Speccy log.

Boot into Safe Mode and see if you have the black border there.

 

Did you reinstall the drivers before or after the border problem?

after theres no border when i uninstall the driver but when i have the amd driver it gives me a black border

its full screen when i go into safe mode when i come into the computer normally it has the black border

Download the drivers from the site my link takes you to, then uninstall the current drivers and install the new ones.

 

Since the problem doesn't repeat in Safe Mode we know that this is a driver issue.

so your saying going in device manager uninstall the current driver and install the one on your link ?

i did that re installed worked fine then when it said installing video controller the screen flashed and now it has a border again

Try uninstalling the AMD Catalyst control center in Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
