Where are all the Appearance options, such as 3D Objects, fonts, font color, etc., or an an Advanced button?

The few there are are not always there, but where are all the rest?

Thanks.

Here's a wiki-whatsit for the font and appearance.

edit: silly me, that's Win 7. I don't know on 8.... is Google unhelpful?

I have done search on it and found unfortunately you cannot change the system font of Windows 8.1 it is coded deep within the actual OS making it nearly impossible. But it can be possible in windows7.

Hope will help!!

Thanks, for your responses.

Unless someone else finds different, I have concluded from the above that there is no way to change fonts except for a 3rd part application.

The link that cmptrgy posted:

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/6479-window-color-appearance-change-windows-8-a.html

is one that I had already found, and when I tried it and changed anything in the specified registry location, then restart, it gets changed back to the way it was before I changed it.

Unless someone else finds different, I have concluded that the color settings in Advanced Appearance settings in Windows 7 and before are no longer, unless there is some other way around it, or even a 3rd party application. (I would be interested in either for colors.)

"it gets changed back to the way it was before I changed it"

Thanks for letting us know that.
