Hi folks!

Ok. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1, 64 bit OS, and 6 GB of RAM

This machine is showing slightly different problems with each new boot. Chief among them is that windows take forever to open.

Here are some of the problems that occur intermittently:

Slow boot

Once at the welcome screen I cannot log on, user avatar is frozen

Cannot open IE or Chrome or they crash as soon as I try to go to another page

Windows works fine (only a little slow) for about 5 minutes before freezing

Some Start Up items are missing in msconfig

Some Control Panel items are missing or not responsive

Listed here are some of the things I've tried so far:

Tried doing a diagnostic boot

Tried removing Start Up programs one at a time

Tried limiting services to Microsoft services

Ran mbam

Ran SuperAntiSpyware

Safe mode, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

I have now tried everything I know how to do. Any thoughts?

TIA, Roberta
