I want to make my own preprocessor for gcc. I was able to remove the comments and include header files in the output .i file.

But I am not able to get around the conditional compilation and including the multiline macro definitions.

Can somebody help me out with it.

I just need the basic layout on how to do it. I tried to surf the internet but that didn't help much.

I am using Ubuntu but I don't think it matters gcc is kernel dependent and they all use the same kernel more or less.

I tried surfing like I said but didn't got much help..

And I just need the layout for going ahead..

I am able to replace macros for 1 line but I'm not quite sure how to go for multiline macrobody

Sorry, out of ideas, not a programmer.

Good luck!
