Hey guys,

With how huge the world of high end computers is, I figured this community would be the best bet for some solid advice!

I have a computer (Dell XPS) that is having major issues after windows update, but thats a topic for another section. It's a few years old and time to upgrade.

My budget for the new computer is: Very flexible. I would say around 1,000 USD.

What are the primary uses for this computer (IE: mail, web browsing, programming, games, etc)? Running a kitchen design program called 20-20. The optimal spesifications are here

What software do you intend on using on the computer? itbureau's 20-20 Design Version 10

Do you play games? If so, what type of games? No

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it? Usually just a browser and 20-20 will be running.

Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer? Yes. Looking for about a 1TB Hard Drive.

Will you be overclocking? No.

Location for online shopping/shipment/prices? That's what I'm hoping for feedback on; I've purchased off Newegg.com in the past, but I'm open to anywhere that can get me the best deal and spesifics in power I'm looking for.

How many monitors are you planning to use? Two.

Do you need peripherals? OS? No (not 100% sure what that is). Would like to use Windows 7 or 8.

So if you didn't read the ideal spesifications link, it pretty much just says I need 64x Windows 7/8, a i7 processer, atleast 8GB ram (thinking I'd need more like 16, though) and an NVidia or ATI/AMD graphics card with atleast 1GB dedicated memory (3D acceleorator). The graphics card part is where I am lost, I've been out of the computer building game for quite awhile so feedback on what I should look for in terms of graphics card and dedicated memory is highly valued.

Let me know if you need any more information. Looking forward to getting some feedback! Thanks!
