lots of popups and google not trusted ?

its been so long i cant remember how i set my system to block popups i guess i used to be more computer savay any way when ever i get on line i get these pop ups in the corners or start new pages and my avast complains it doesnt recognize googles certificate

 where did i go wrong

First...check the date/time reflected in the BIOS and ensure that it is correct.

Incorrect time and date on your computer can cause SSL certification issues, and thus "not trusted". As hamluis pointed out, make sure that the time, or rather the date, is set correctly.

actually i did it in minutes so here i am again a week or two later looking for more ideas the bios clock settings were correct
