As I was deleting some photographs on my desktop a very large image of yours truly filled the whole screen. I Googled for info how to delete this image and was "advised" to RC on the desktop>Personalize and take it from there.

I have ended up with a virulent blue screen ; the Microsoft Windows logo in the centre and my icons filling up the various spaces.

I cannot recall what I had previously! certainly , no image at all just a nice restfully-coloured screen.

So, what have I done wrong and how can I remedy it, please?

I would appreciate your help and offer thanks in advance.

Well I've sorted out the above problem. Had a mental aberration obviously!
