Hi

I could really use some help. I got Vista Beta 2 installed and like many people I
am having issues with drivers. I'm trying to get my Hauppauge PCI analogue TV Tuner
working but Vista is making life difficult. I found what I hope will be a fix but
it involves making some registry edits:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ENUM\PCI

I need to access and change the permissions settings for PCI. The problem is when
I try to apply the changes I get an error dialogue - "access is denied" even though
I'm signed in the administrators account. Any help would be appreciated.

Altrenatively has anyone installed a Hauppauge TV card in a Vista machine and got
it working - if so how did you do it.

Thanks.

I just finished an install of Vista Beta 2 on a system with the PVR-250. Vista didn't recognize it during the install.

But I just let Vista search for drivers on the web and it installed perfectly!
