I just ran CCleaner to empty some junk out of my temp files, i then took a look at the startup tab in CCleaner, something new has appeared. The something is given the following description:

Enabled:yes

Key: HKLM:Runonce

Program:GrpConv

Publisher: (nothing is given)

File: grpconv -o

Whta on earth is this, I've never seen it in their before, it must have appeared in the last day or two. Is it dangerous should i disable it immediately? the machine is a windows 8 laptop. I've never seen or heard of this process before, i've never seen it listed in the startup lists within CCleaner.
Thanks

For anyone who has seen this happen i can report the cause i found, it is quite harmless. this task appears in the list of startup items presented by CCleaner after a scan is run with kaspersky virus removal tool. I run the tool occasionaly and ran it today to check that yesterday's "reinstall" from a system image went ok (it did). I have noticed the correlation that this appears every time i run and then close that scanner, and that this appears only when that scanner is run and has never appearead except after using it. Therefore if at some point in the future someone elses notices this task like i once did, don't panic, i know the cause!

Generally i find it a good idera to post explanations if i ever find solutions or causes to problems, that way anyone else seeing the same thing can benefit from what i have learnt in the past. I won't leave these for anyone...
