This would probably be more appropriate in an actual Google Chrome forum.. But I couldn't get that to load and I know how useful the community is here. Including this one, I've now tried posting to about seven forums and five of them have left me completely unable to post at all. Scrolling over the text entry area, my cursor doesn't even change. I try clicking too and nothing happens. The only thing I've done to my computer lately unusual at all is take out the memory to try and put some new sticks in that didn't work. But I got the original sticks back in now and I really don't understand how that could cause a problem like this. Especially since it's not every forum. Can anyone help me out here?

Edit: I also notice that the text entry fields seem to be slightly different on these forums that aren't working. Here's a comparison.

Can you tell the difference?

I know, but that's not the point. Most forums are still pretty similar from what I've seen. The message area itself is always the same but on every forum that I can't type in, the message area is all broken up into blocks like that. But that's not the point either. The point is I can't enter any text on 5/7 forums that I've recently visited. Please try to answer more usefully next time.

The last line was a bit harsh. Quickest way NOT to get help. The one common thing I found such things when dealing with fields whether it's a database program, forums, etc. is the display settings. Commonly seen on Windows 7 when people change the "Make it easer to read what's on your screen". I found keeping it on 100% is wise for 125 and 150 messing up screens. Hopefully this was more useful.

I know that was a bit harsh but he came across as rude to me as well. And thank you, but I don't think I've ever changed those settings. I'll go check now though.

Sorry if I sounded rude I wasn't trying to be. The website may run and look better through IE and that is because the website itself was coded that way. Some websites are more IE freindly. It could be how you run your browser. Font sizes, zoom, full screen modes. If you use firefox you could try using using compatability mode. That might help.

Also, sometimes it's a profile issue which could be one of many things. If you create a new local account and try it with the new account that can rule out profile settings or PC settings as a whole.
