... this has been my go to spot when I have issues and questions.  By logging in today, it said I have never introduced myself.  Sorry about that.  It's been years that I've been a member and getting help.

Last night I was unfortunate enough to visit Amazon to watch the new Transparent series.  As I did so, it downloaded several unwelcome additions.  One was YP downloader.  Another one was called Superfish. I am sure there are others.  The site encouraged me to upgrade my flash so that I could watch the program.  When I could not use Chromecast, I should have run the other direction anyway!

I have tried going back in time before that occurred, but it is very stubborn.  I am now going through the routines suggested.  Malwarebytes becomes nonresponsive when it finds this program.  I cannot delete it nor can I quarantine it.  Malwarebytes just hovers and says "nonresponsive" ...  I have tried Spybot.  Useless.  Nothing there either.  I am now trying Adw to see if it can find something.  So annoying and time consuming.

This is absolutely the most most most useful forum that I frequent, and I thank you all very much!  I have shared my experiences with others, too.
