There was a feature in previous versions of windows on number of redial attempts to a broadband connection and interval between successive dial attempts. I am unable to find the feature in Windows 8. Is there an option to bring it back ? It was such a useful option, especially when you don't have a stable internet connection . i find this but i dont want to use this http://www.ankitsharma.info/softwares/windows8-redialer

Do you have a dialup connection???

If so, the option is still available in "Internet Options" in the Control Panel.

You'll find a tab in Internet Options called "Connections", where you have the options for dialup.

I'm certaintly not a network expert, but I don't quite understand how dialup relates to VPN's.

Do you get disconnected from your VPN frequently and you'd like it to reconnect automatically? Is that it?
