Need to install .DLL File

I am running XP SP3


I need to install a fresh copy of rpcss.dll


I thought this would be easy, but I can't be sure of the new files validity

and it occurs in different places


Here are the files on my computer...

I'm curious as to...what makes you think that you need to install the named file?


Running the sfc /scannow command is the typical way of replacing missing/damaged system files.


Downloading Windows system files via the Internet...IMO, is an invitation to all those who cherish malware.
