I am new to this, so please bear with me.  I am 68 years old retired and am fascinated with computers  I live in the Philippines outside  a small city, not much to do here and that's why the computer, opens up an entire world for you to take part in.  Totally agree with what Warren Buffet said a while back re the internet and giving up half his wealth if that's what it took to use it....If I was younger I know how I would make a living
媒体文件 ----  What is it???
Any idea how to get rid of it?  It has shown up in place of VLC and Windows Media Player and have to choose manually how you want to watch a video.  Has also shown up in photos and ebook downloads.
This has just recently happened.  Have run Spybot, Malwarebytes, and used CCleaner to check the registry and nothing shows up.  Antivirus is BitDefender and it has not found it.
Did have a problem with iqyi virus and removed it.  Could this be left over from that?

Edit: Moved topic from Introductions to the more appropriate forum. Also two duplicates of this topic deleted.~ Animal

Do a file search for "媒体文件" and see where it is.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Have you tried using System Restore to return to a previous state before the problems began?
