hi ,

my moden is a usb-modem made by SAGEM.
I can connect from windows without problem.

now concerning how to connect from Linux.
the company i bought the modem from had a manual with it
I follow the steps in the manual but when I type the order " ./configure " it says afterwards

"warning: your $PATH does not contain /usr/local/sbin. You won't be able to launch scripts.
If you are using bash, you should update /root/.bashrc "

thanks in advance, sakaman

Actually I didn't solve the :
"warning: your $PATH does not contain /usr/local/sbin. You won't be able to launch scripts.
If you are using bash, you should update /root/.bashrc "

but i managed to connect to the internet from linux ,
i don't know what happened , i guess the instructions in the manual weren't corrent but I did a little search with google and found the solution:

when I had to type the order "eagleconfig" I didn't know and the instructions didn't say that I had to type "./ealeconfig" and moreover that I should be under the directory /usr/local/bin

But who cares now, I don't. :flowers:

May be the person who stumbles across your post needing similar advice? That's why we don't delete the posts after they are resolved.
Anyways, congratulations finding the solution to your problem.
