My liquid screen display is about 1.5 years old. From last week, there is some problem with it. The colour tone of the LSD sometimes suddenly turned yellow, and recovered to normal color tone within 10-30 minutes. This week it got worse: whenever I turned on the LSD, the color tone is very yellow and keep in that status until I had to turn it off.

Is it a problem with the LSD ? Should I send it for repair ? Thanks for any advice.

I think you mean "LCD."

It stands for "Liquid Crystal Display."

Could this be the Dr. Timothy Leary bug? ----Sorry, just couldn't resist

Now I can't see my "LCD" monitor clearly through the tears in my eyes from laughing.

If you have another monitor, hook it up and see if the problem persists. If it does, then the cause of the problem is not with the monitor. If, on the other hand, the problem goes away then the monitor is the issue.

If this is a laptop, then hook up another monitor in the back and see if the problem shows up in the second monitor.
