I came here because a friend suggested it.  I had asked him why no matter what I did I could not uncheck my "proxy" server box in internet options.  This causes me not to be able to go to any website, even though I am connected to my wifi.  I downloaded the anti virus that you have and ran everything.  But. when I look at the proxy box.  It is still checked.  This happened all of a sudden.  Hope this site can help

You might try using Windows's System Restore to roll Windows back to a point in time when your computer was functioning correctly. It allows you to undo system changes without affecting your personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos.
