I have read many articles on the net about prefetch. Some think it is great. Others think it slows down the system.
prefetch boot and applications
prefetch boot only
prefetch applications only
disable prefetch

What do the experts think?

EZ

Prefetching boot really helps.
Prefetching applications does not really help.

Many advise the real help option.
Hint : experience both and conclude.
