Hi this may be the silliest question ever, but...... if websites appear in the history bar and if web addresses appear in the history of the address bar, there is no way they got there unless the addresses were entered by someone and the sites were visited - right?

the pc is shared by many people and some sexually explicit website addresses are appearing in those areas. I'm not sure if they can appear off the back of other sites visited.

How can I stop these sites being visited without an installed 'parental control' please?

You can set the level but however, there still ways to view these sites unless u specifically blaock the sites. This will get tedious. OR you may permit the contents on web surf in another user account.
