Hello everyone,

i have just bought my new windows 8.1 original dvd :)

i formatted my laptop (toshiba P70) and installed all the necessary add-ons and software... so i can say i have a perfectly new laptop :D

my question is the following: is there any free or low-price software i can download or buy online that allows me to make a complete recovery fresh and pure copy of my current windows so in case i got a tough virus or i needed one day to format again my pc, i only have to boot my recovery from a DVD or from a a small partition i reserved on my HDD?

Thank you

There is a built in Windows System Image feature, available from File History in the Control Panel.

The option will be at the bottom left, titled "System Image Backup".

All is well in Paradise.

Macrium Reflect is a good freeware program.

You can find a tutorial for it at Macrium Software.
