some services stop automatically

Hi,

I have Desktop with Windows XP SP3. I have some issue with tis system. Issue is some services are automatically stops any time between my work like Computer Browser, Server, Workstation,DHCP Client, Themes etc. when i start this services manually it works but after some times it will stop automatically.

 

Please Help me to resolve this issue.

Welcome,

My first recommendation would be to update to W7.

This link tells you how to run the system file checker that is part of your operating system

I'd recommend running sfc /scannow from the CMD prompt [you must be an administrator to do this]

Do you have your operating system installation CD?

One more attempt;

Use the install CD and do a startup repair

If that doesn't fix it then I'm going to ask a moderator to move you over to the malware removal forum so an expert can take a closer look and give you the help you need

I had done a startup repair but no luck.

Same problem....
