Hi all,

I am posting here to see if someone can help by pointing me to a post that details and describes this type of infection.

I attempted to do some research via Google and found a number of entries relating to a naiadsystem.com infection (e.g http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/330489/naiadsystems-or-other-unknown-malware/) but did not see any details that describe the infection.

Here is what I am looking for (but any information about this type of infection would be of help) :

1. How it infects a system.

2. Type of infection and what it does.

3. Which operating system or browser is it design to work with.

4. If you were to hover you mouse over a No Script blocked Flash Player and saw something like this :

<OBJECT>, shockwave-flash@http://www.naiadsystems.com/flash/generic............(there is alot more text - I can supply the entire entry if required)

Would that be an indication that the website is using the naiadsystem infection via Flash Player on their website?

Thanks for any help/clarification that can be provided.
