How can one always (completely) keep the date / time displayed in the system tray at the right side (without losing these little notification icons at the left side of the clock): http://i.imgur.com/x2hY2Nl.png?

The time and date appear there by default.

It looks like you're using an aftermarket theme pack that is causing the problem.

Is the taskbar locked?

Is the taskbar locked?

It is not at the moment. But unlocking does not help.

It happens because there are many icons: http://i.imgur.com/EkvAz2D.png

When there are less icons the clock is displayed (more or less). But how could I make the clock to be displayed all the time?

Try hiding some of the icons.  Then lock the taskbar.

Thank you for the link, dc3,

Could one may be extend the icons to the left side, so let the bigger icons at the left disappear automatically when there are more icons on the right side: http://i.imgur.com/4cON5LB.gif
