recovery console WILL NOT START!!!!!!!

I have the recovery console installed and followed the instructions here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654 but when I get to the part where it tells me to press "r" I get the following error "please insert the disk labeled windows automated system recovery disk" EVERY TIME!!!!!! MICROSOFT WEBSITE IS *WRONG*!!!!!!!!!! HOW DO I GET INTO THE RECOVERY CONSOLE??????????????????

If you installed the recovery console properly you don't need to press "R". It will show as a boot option. You should never see the command to "press r" - when do you see it?


Trust me, Microsoft isn't wrong.
