We may be able to help you if you explain very clearly what exactly this problem is and what you have already attempted to resolve this.

 

It may also help if you list the make and model of this computer.

 That is your virus program . It letting you know the web page you went to is infected. Or there may be a file infected on your computer. Did you click the Blue tab. To see if it gives any option to clean it.

Avast recognized a website that you were trying to open as being dangerous.

 

Is your copy of Avast the 2014 paid version?  If it is you will see what looks like sideways green tears with a white check mark inside it.  This indicates that Avast recognizes the website as being safe.  If you see this in red it is considered dangerous.
