Windows live photo gallery will not download photos from my SD card. It gives me an error message 0X 0000009. It is some type of corruption in files. Anyone has ideas how to fix this problem? Thank you for any help you could provide.

What makes you think it's a file corruption issue?

Mod Edit:  Merged posts - Hamluis.

Thank you. I just installed a new printer Epson XP 810 series. I thought maybe something happened through the installation. The printer works fine. Prior the printer installation I was able to import from the SD card and now I' can't.

"The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR3, has a bad block."

Please...post the link to the  Speccy Snapshot.

It appears to me that your SD card or your hard drive may be damaged.
