My daughter has an Apple I Book G4 laptop. She said the computer was on her bed and the next time she tried to use it, the screen was cracked. Anyone have any experience with this? What's the best (ie cheapest) way to repair it?

If you have experience working on computers I would recommend replacing it your self. I have replaced several and it's not that bad it is just time consuming.
You could always plug and external monitor in.
