Hi and welcome to Bleeping Computer! My name is Sam and I will be helping you.

Please download Ewido Security Suite it is a trial version of the program.
  • Install ewido security suite
  • When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Then click on Start Update
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Once the updates are installed do the following:
  • Click on scanner
  • Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
  • While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK
  • When it asks if you want to clean the first file, put a check in the lower left corner of the box that says "Perform action on all infections" then choose clean and click OK.
  • Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report.
  • Save the report .txt file to your desktop.
Now close ewido security suite.

Reboot your computer and post a new hijackthis log and the log from Ewido.

It said something about dumping physical memory...when i started mozilla a page popped up and said i crashed and something about Windows stop error (A message appears on a blue screen with error code information)..

now...since i dont have a clue i have a question...what?

First I see signs that you are running both Panda and Mcafee antivirus on this computer. You should never run two antivirus programs at one time. This may have contributed to your computer crashing.

Please uninstall either Mcafee or Panda.

Then let's do a little manual clean up and then come back to Ewido.

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of the lines listed below. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

We're making progress.

I see you also have Norton installed. Please uninstall either Norton or Mcafee.
Once you are down to just one antivirus program, then proceed with this next set of steps.

First let's make sure you have the latest updates for Ewido.
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop, double-click it.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
  • Then click on Start Update.
  • The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
(the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
  • Exit ewido. DO NOT scan yet.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.
Ewido Manual Updates

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

==============

Now that you have the right tools we can start fixing your problem.

Please make sure that you can View Hidden Files
  • Click Start -> My Computer
  • Select Tools -> Folder options
  • Select the View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled.
  • Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked.
  • Make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked
  • Make sure "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" is unchecked
  • For more info on how to show hidden files click here.
Please print out these instructions as the rest of this fix must be done in Safe mode and you won't be able to access the Internet.

Please reboot your computer in SafeMode by doing the following:
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.
* if you have trouble getting into Safe mode go here for more info.

=============

Once in Safe mode, follow these steps:
  • Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

You can just shut down Windows Defender for now. It is not going to be much help until we get you cleaned up.

i tried to run the panda thing but when it says i need to install directx or w/e it just brings up a pop up ad for panda active scan pro...what do i need to do?

It's an active-x control that you will need to ok before it can be downloaded. When the virus scanner begins to load, you will see a yellow info bar at the top of the smaller windows that is open.
It will say "This site might require the following Activex control: 'asinst.cab' from 'Panda Software'. Click here to install..."
Click on the yellow bar and select "Install ActiveX Control". The page will reload and the download will begin.

Once Panda runs you will get a log that will show malware that was found, but not disinfected. It's important to post that log back here in your next reply.

same thing

i go click scan enter the info and start the scan. It then points up and says something about stopping the site from downloading activex click for more options. I click and select install active x. Only thing is that a pop up for a panda product comes up, but nothing comes up, i close the ad and it says i need to retry and so i do and the same thing happens over and over.

Let's try another site and see if we get better results.

Please run the F-Secure Online Scanner

Note: This Scanner is for Internet Explorer Only!
  • Follow the Instruction Here for installation.
  • Accept the License Agreement.
  • Once the ActiveX installs,Click Full System Scan
  • Once the download completes, the scan will begin automatically.
  • The scan will take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan completes, click the Automatic cleaning (recommended) button.
  • Click the Show Report button and Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

I'm not sure that's the problem, but let's give it a shot.

Open up IE and click on Tools -> Internet Options
Select the Security tab and then hilight the Internet zone.
Down at the bottom, click on Default Level.

Now select Trusted Sites zone and click on Sites button.
Add this web site to the zone:

*.pandasoftware.com

Ok your way out. Close IE and reopen it.
Then try Panda again.
