I have a machine I have been trying to figure out some issues on for some time now. I just ran an app using Parted Magic and found some things on Port 631 UDP and TCP. The problem is that this machine was a Windows 7 originally and is now running a Linux distro. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Port 631 is used by the cups web interface and IPP . On both Linux and MAC.
