As consumers start lining up at Apple (AAPL) stores for the iPhone 6 in the coming weeks, representatives from iCracked will be right there with them-trying to buy their old phones.

ICracked, a 4-year-old Silicon Valley start-up that repairs smartphones and resells used devices, will have so-called iTechs outside over 120 Apple stores in the U.S., letting customers know they can sell their iPhone 5 for up to $200, all by downloading an app.

"People wildly underestimate what they can do with a used device," said AJ Forsythe, iCracked's 26-year-old co-founder and chief executive officer, from his office nearOracle's (ORCL) headquarters in Redwood City, California. "We'll be educating customers about reselling devices after they upgrade."

I wonder if they would like to buy my iphone 3, Yes 3.

Members are advised that if they are considering selling their IPhoneX or Droid for that matter to at least factory reset it themselves before handing it over.
