Hello,

Trying to run Farbar application (FRST). Won't run. I get  the following error message.

"Error message reads "Exception EAccessViolation in module ERUNT.exe at 00003A62. Access violation at address 00403A62 in module 'ERUNT.exe'. Read of address 0000002C"

What to do?

Are you running FRST as Admin, from the command prompt?

I opened it normally. Switched and opened it as administrator. Still got the error message but was able to scan and get reports.

Thanks for the help.

Install & download farber service scanner tool that help to analyze network connectivity issues due to corrupted or missing Windows services.

The OP is using Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) which is designed to run in the Recovery Environment in Windows Vista and Windows 7 in order to diagnose and fix boot problems.
