A good tablet I'd recommend is the Asus Memopad HD7

I use it and it comes in handy and its not too expensive.

More info about the tablet can be found here.

I will recommend ASUS machines any day of the week & twice on Sundays.  They are good & so is their warranty.  I have sold many ASUS computers to clients & all have been very happy w/ them.

I agree that Asus Memopad HD7 is one of the best and affordable tablet in the market because of its revolutionary and high-end features. Compared to other high-end tablets, Asus reached an extra mile to offer more out of the same price. Even the laptop products of Asus are among the best in the market.

It depends on what you're looking to do with it. I bought an RCA Viking Pro 2-1 laptop/ tablet from Walmart with the protection plan for under $100. I mainly check email and go on YouTube although it can do quite a bit more than that. I've written documents on it and gone on Google Hangout. It's good for games too.
