I have just installed it, why intenet is so slow in windows 8.1

Internet in 8.1 is no faster or slower than 8 or any other system.

Please describe the problem you have so that we may assist you.

In the meantime, you can download a small app from the store called "Network Speed Test" (green icon) and perform a speed test to see if you are getting the bandwidth that you'd expect from your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Go to http://speedtest.net/ and check your internet speed. If it's higher than 10-20MBPS, it should be fast enough, and it is probably something wrong with your computer.

The OS has nothing to do with your Internet Speed. Maybe your Modem or Router is acting weird, try resetting them
