I think I had a virus one time and cleaned it out. Now when I sun the sfc /scannow I get the error below. I attempted to just replace the file with a known good copy I have but I no longer have permissions to the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Win7 Home Premium x64

Please...do NOT download said file, it's nonessential from what I see and downloading Windows files from any site other than MS...is not recommended.

I would try running the chkdsk /r command on the Windows partition...what's indicated as a "corrupt file" may actually be a file that's on bad sectors and, hence, cannot be repaired by sfc /scannow.

Do not look for or post any log from the chkdsk operation, just run the command.
