I've decided to build a PC that's mainly for MMO gaming, streaming, recording, and minor video editing. I won't be playing any brand new Triple A titles on it only MMORPGs. The most intensive thing it needs to be able to do is stream a game like The Old Republic at 720p with constant 60+ fps while at the same time running a MBAM scan. I don't really have a budget but just don't want it to be crazy expensive.

I want the system to be able to do this without overclocking.

My Current Part List (Notes in Parenthesis)

Cpu : Intel i5-4690k (Best atm i5 & I'm not sure if I'll need an i7)

Cpu Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (Great Reviews)

Mobo : ASUS-Z97 Pro Wifi-AC (Build needs WiFi might as well get it built into the board)

Ram : Crucial Ballistic Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 (16GB is more future proof)

HDD : Toshiba 2TB 7200 RPM (Needed 2TB)

SSD : Sandisk 128GB (SSD for OS)

Gpu : MSI Radeon R9 280x 3GB Twin Frozr (Might change this to a 770 not sure)

PSU : EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W (Might add a second GPU)

Case : NZXT Phantom 410 (Beautiful Case)

Monitor : ASUS VX238H (1ms Response & I needed a monitor with 2 HDMI)

Mouse : SteelSeries Rival (Great Reviews)

Keyboard : Corsair K95 RGB with Brown MX (Holy Crap Amazing Keyboard)

Expansion : Rosewill PCIE 1394a Card (Need Firewire Port)

I Already have an Optical Drive and OS

Build looks pretty nice, do you plan to overclock the CPU? If not then get the i5-4690 (non-K).

RAM is RAM really so I would say get the cheapest (2x8) at least 1333MHz.

On the HDD I would say stick with Western Digital or Seagate, as they have the best reviews.

If it is in your budget then go for the GTX 770, as it beats the 280X in performance.

I love NZXT cases, I have the full size Phantom and it's great.

Good luck building the computer

Go for an I7 if you are planning on doing heavily threaded tasks, but for now i can only think that an overclocked I5 is the best bet for this usage.

I would swap that Sandisk to a Samsung EVO 840 or a Crucial m500, MSI to XFX 280x, RAM is perfectly fine at 1600, HDD to Western digital Caviar blue/black. Otherwise, this is a solid build.

Oh if you want a quieter cpu cooler, you can go with a Be quiet! Dark rock pro 2 or 3. But Hyper 212 EVO is unbeatable price:performance-wise.

Corsair K95 RGB - if you can get this then you are one lucky you-know-what. That thing is glorious! This will be released late September i think.
