recently, my dell laptop with XP Pro will not "obey" my preset automatic power settings. i like to play music when i fall asleep and would like my computer to hibernate after the music is done (usually about 30 mins). i have been doing this successfully for the past year but just recently my computer will not shut down. i have tried changing around the times or using a different "scheme"(home/office, portable, etc.) but this does not help. i wake up in the middle of the night, 5 hours later, and the laptop is still running. is there anything that can cause this and what is the solution?
