Hi kannansmt and :welcome:

Say how much the budget is for whole PC?Motherboard is better to provide enough speed and to have PCI Express 3.0 for this videocard.

Not sure whether PCI Express 2.0 will be enough and not to stumble.

Thank you!

Will you be planning on SLI? Overclocking of CPU/GPU?

What?

I mean that AMD is manufacturing PCI-E 3.0 compatible graphics cards but does not support the standard on any of their Mobos.I have only seen ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX/GEN3 R2.0

Also:

Base Clock Speed: PCIe 3.0 = 8.0GHz, PCIe 2.0 = 5.0GHz, PCIe 1.1 = 2.5GHz
Data Rate: PCIe 3.0 = 1000MB/s, PCIe 2.0 = 500MB/s, PCIe 1.1 = 250MB/s
Total Bandwidth: (x16 link): PCIe 3.0 = 32GB/s, PCIe 2.0 = 16GB/s, PCIe 1.1 = 8GB/s
Data Transfer Rate: PCIe 3.0 = 8.0GT/s, PCIe 2.0= 5.0GT/s, PCIe 1.1 = 2.5GT/s

If you put a PCI Express 3.0 card in a PCI Express 2.x mainboard, communication will be done using the 2.x standard and speed.

But as I see current graphics cards aren't fast enough to utilize the extra bandwidth.

Compare two-way SLI Titan performance on PCIe 2 versus PCIe 3 there is very little advantage.

Thank you!

Don't go with the 500. Also the quality of the power supply matters, not just the number the manufacturer puts on the box. A quality 600 is better than a cheapo 700.

Personally I would go with a quality 650w psu, unless you plan on upgrading in the future or SLI that will require more power.

maybe one like this or depending on your budget maybe a cheaper option like this   both quality psu options
