Wasn't sure where to post this, didn't see any other forum that this question seemed to fit, so gonna try it here.

Question, bought a new laptop computer and want to move favorites list from old desktop comp to new. Is there any simple way to do this?

Thanks...

Edit: Moved topic from General Chat to the more appropriate forum.~ Animal

I'm going to assume by 'favorites' you mean web browser bookmarks. If in fact that is what you mean, which browser do you need to export them from? Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or another browser? Knowing which browser and version will help us give you precise information.

Hey Animal, thanks for the quick response. You're on the ball today.

Sorry I didn't give more info, I know better than that. Okay, old desktop comp has I.E.9, new laptop has I.E. 11., and yes, I am talking about bookmarks.

Thanks again for the quick response.

No Problem. Do you have a thumbdrive/flashdrive, or dropbox account? What you will want to do is:

Then to import on IE 11: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/add-view-organize-favorites#ie=ie-11

You'll use the flash drive or dropbox or what ever other method, as a location to export and import the favorites file to and from.
