I tried to installing my game, it's popup say: Setup was unable to create the directory "C:\users\owner\appdata\local\temp\is-4df2.temp, error 5 Access denied. Also I got another error as different install setup, "Could not initialize installation C:\~GLC1034.tmp the system cannot find the file specified"

I tried to scan my HDD as Malwarebyte..it won't help me bit little.

Hi,

I would like to see a log...

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.
Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options:

  • List content of Hosts
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Devices (select Only Problems)
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size
  • List Minidump Files
  • List Restore Points

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply.

You could have some serious permissions problem or malware! I will ask to move the topic to the malware section...

Lets see if you can execute this:

Please download Rkill by Grinler and save it to your desktop.

  • Link 1
  • Link 2
  • Link 3
    • Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
    • If using Vista, right-click on it and Run As Administrator.
    • A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
    • If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
    • If it does not work, repeat the process and attempt to use one of the remaining links until the tool runs.
    • If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.
  • Do not reboot the computer, or you will need to run the application again.
  • Please post the log generated by the tool.

  • Try to download Malwarebytes Chameleon and save the file to the Desktop
  • Extract the zip file mbam-chameleon-3.1.4.0.zip
  • open the file icon_chm.gifchameleon.chm
  • follow the instructions to run Chameleon # one at a time until it runs

Let me know if it works before doing a scan because we need to adjust some settings first...

On the command prompt type:

net user administrator /active:yes

If the command worked you will see "The command completed successfully"

Restart the computer you will see the login screen with an account called Administrator click on that one to access the system.
